When a healthcare concern arises, HHIT rises. Comprehensive services are provided to overcome the current barriers in access to healthcare. With team based coordinated care as the foundation of our services, the professional team of healthcare promoters, case managers, social workers, attorneys, medical coverage specialist, and cultural brokers are equiped to handle a comprehensive range of general medical and social needs that affect access to care.

Case Management
Transportation
Though the availability of transportation services are not in question, obtaining these transportation services for the unfunded population becomes a challange. HHIT has been fortunate to develop relationships with low cost/ no cost transportation services that include air/ ground ambulance and wheelchair van transport for local, statewide, and international transport.
Legal Services
Assistance in obtaining free to low cost legal services for those low-income persons unable to obtain access to the judicial system through other avenues.
Our representation ensures that our clients and patients have equal access to the justice system and our outreach and education programs provide the clients and patients with needed tools to advocate for themselves and to lead more independent and knowledgeable lives.

Medical Coverage
The most vulnerable population remains at an disadvantage and exposed when access to healthcare presents challanges. These same challanges can become taxing on the healthcare community. HHIT provides viable options and assists in connecting the hispanic population with healthcare coverage molded to fit thier healthcare needs locally, statewide, and interantionally.
Healthcare Access/ Advocacy
With the already existent complexities of the patient/ clients medical condition, HHIT intervenes as the champion voice for the patient and/ or client from navigating resources, expediting follow up appointments, to smooth transitions with hospital visits, and sifting through and understanding payment systems.
Interpretation/ Translation
In a healthcare system where communication between patient and provider is vital, HHIT provides quality person centered interpretation and translation services hoping to fill the void of understanding and create a smooth patient - provider exchange. Knowledge is power and being knowledgable of ones condition is the first step to empowerment.
